Illness Explorer
Illness Explorer provides a guided DIY exploration for patients and clients of the relationships between their own ‘story’ and their physical symptoms. It requires a PC (will not work on a Macintosh), and is VERY practical. It is based on the material in the two books and was particularly constructed for patients/clients who came to see Brian from faraway places, giving them something to work on by themselves. In the first half of the ‘journey’ (that is why it is called Illness Explorer) there is explanation of how the relationships between physical illness and ‘story’ happen, and the second half is entirely occupied with exploring the relationships using all the practical methods we have found helpful. The program is very user-friendly and full of stories and graphics to enhance the journey.
